Spring Sports are in full speed, and Spring sports remind me that Spring isn’t Summer! The West Henderson Softball game against AC Reynolds started off hot – both on the field and off of it – but while the game action kept getting hotter and hotter, the temperature certainly cooled off as the game rolled on!
The game was a high-scoring affair, and the cold started to affect the players. They all played hard, but frozen fingers and toes made for some incredible offense in the final couple of innings. The Falcons were down 12-10 and rallied in the bottom of the 6th to take the 16-12 win.
Congratulations to the Falcons, and a big shout-out to the Rockets for an exciting game! I didn’t want to leave and miss any of this action!!
