It’s always a fierce battle when these two teams get together. West Henderson and Hendersonville have deep volleyball roots. They each have won several State Championships, and the talent always reloads each year. While many of these players are friends off the court, they all have the same mission: win this match for their school. And at no time in the game did either team – or player – let up and give in. The battle was fierce, with West Henderson winning 3-0, but with 2 sets going to extra points. Both teams were strong, and both played with lots of pride.
It was so exciting to get back on the court and watch these young women play. It is going to be an incredible season!!
